Early Life

I was Born in Shropshire, however as a family we moved and I was raised in the Middle East before coming back to the UK to continue my education in Shrewsbury. I attended Shrewsbury High School before moving to Moreton Hall School, where I achieved ABB at A-level. I then spent a year out living with a french family and attending a local lycee in Bordeaux. This experience meant that by the end of my year out I was fluent in French and had gained a broader international perspective.

Where I found my love of Politics

In 1999 I returned to the UK and took up my place at King's College London, reading Theology where I developed a deeper understanding of ethics, history, philosophy, and public life.

I became involved in political life at Kings and was appointed Deputy Chair of the Young Conservatives at Kings which allowed me the opportunity to meet and learn from many local MPs, including David Cameron and George Osbourne, as well as spend time in the House of Commons and canvas with other politically minded friends.

Work Life

After University, I applied and was accepted on to the Step programme run by PWC for prospective trainees in London. During my time at PWC, I worked with a number of FTSE100 and FTSE 250 clients, travelling extensively across the UK,  Europe,  Asia, Africa and the USA. I was also fortunate to be asked to work with a number of corporate initiatives during my time in the City; these included such entities as the Prince's Trust, The Countryside Alliance and spending a day in number 10 with the then PM David Cameron, and Chancellor, George
Osborne, discussing the importance of British farming and agriculture and supporting rural communities.

Family
Life

In lockdown, my husband and I, made the decision as parents of three young children to move from London back to my late parents' home in NorthShropshire and enjoy all the wonderful delights that our beautiful county has to offer.

I feel priviledged to live within North Shropshire where I can enjoy spending time cooking with my children; bouldering at local indoor climbing venues; visiting National Trust properties and going to the theatre to see the latest offerings from
Horrible Histories!

Continuing a Legacy through Wellbeing

Two years ago, I took over my late
father's business fully, caring for and rehabilitating vulnerable adults in the community. This is without doubt, one of the most important and rewarding jobs i have ever done and I feel blessed to be able to help those in need.
